愛くるしい狸がお出迎え
昭和23年創業の和菓子屋「狸山まんじゅう」。国見町狸山の麓にあり、名物は「こしあん」または「芋あん」が入った狸マークが焼印されたほかほかのお饅頭。見た目も可愛く、おやつに最適です。その他、ふかふかの蒸しパンや季節限定で登場する桜餅や苺大福も人気。夏場は限定のかき氷を求めて遠方から沢山の人が訪れます。

"TANUKIYAMA (Raccoon Mountain) Manju" is a Japanese sweets shop established in 1948. Located at the foot of Mt. Raccoon, at Kunimi Town, the specialty is the steamed buns filled with "azuki beans paste" or "sweet potato paste", branded with the raccoon mark. The buns are cute to look at and make a great snack. The cherry blossom rice cakes and strawberry daifuku, which are available only in limited seasons, are also popular. In summer, many people come from far and wide for the limited shaved ice.
