Get relaxed, healed at the old traditional Karimizu district

Situated very close to Obama Onsen town, Karimizu is known for its beauty of landscape, with primeval forest, spring water, dual view of the sea and the mountain. Stepping further into the narrow alley of this district, you will find “Karimizu an” gallery and café, an old mansion built 80 years ago by a master Japanese carpenter. Later on, renovation was made to accommodate a shop on the first floor with traditional craft goods, on the second floor a spacious cozy café to enjoy sweets and drinks.
